View the NVMe/TCP directors

Unisphere provides monitoring and management for Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe/TCP) directors, NVMe/TCP ports, NVMe/TCP endpoints, IP interfaces, and IP routes.

About this task

To view the NVMe/TCP directors:

Steps

  1. Select a storage system that is running PowerMaxOS 10 (6079).
  2. Select System > iSCSI+NVMe and click NVME tab to open the NVMe dashboard.
  3. Click NVMe/TCP Directors to open the NVMe/TCP Directors list view.
The following properties display, depending on the operating environment:
Director The name of the NVMe/TCP director.
Ports The number of NVMe/TCP physical ports associated with the director.
IP Interfaces The total number of IP interfaces associated with each physical port on the director.
Attached NVMe/TCP Endpoints The total number of unique NVMe/TCP endpoints attached to the IP interfaces associated with the director.
Unattached NVMe/TCP Endpoints The total number of unique NVMe/TCP endpoints unattached to the IP interfaces associated with the director.
IP Routes The total number of IP routes associated with the director.
Volumes The total number of volumes that are mapped to all NVMe/TCP endpoints on that director.

To see more information about a director, select it and click Details icon.

    The following parameters are displayed:

    • NVMe/TCP Ports—The number of NVMe/TCP physical ports associated with the director
    • IP Interfaces—The total number of IP interfaces associated with each physical port on the director.
    • Attached NVMe/TCP Endpoints—The total number of unique NVMe/TCP endpoints attached to the IP interfaces associated with the director.
    • Unattached NVMe/TCP Endpoints—The total number of unique NVMe/TCP endpoints unattached to the IP interfaces associated with the director.
    • IP Routes—The total number of IP routes associated with the director.
    • Volumes—The total number of volumes that are mapped to all NVMe/TCP endpoints on that director
